In this opportunity, we are looking for a senior Data Engineering Manager to join our team.

Valuable background and abilities:

● Leading the technical aspects of our data quality and data cleaning project.

● Experience migrating or cleaning data in either SQL or Cosmos DB databases. This experience must include using pipelines and rules to correct data automatically and then highlighting which records need to be diverted to a Subject Matter Expert for manual review. These pipelines and processes will need to be built by the data engineering team.

● This will be a hands-on role. The role will also have a people management aspect.

● Must be able to work with stakeholders including a Product Owner. Longer term this role will evolve to have responsibility for the company’s data systems infrastructure and keeping the systems online and working.

Type of work:

This is a Hybrid work, based in Auckland. With occasional travel to Dunedin, South Island

Team:

You will be leading a team of three Data Engineers.

English Level:

Advance. Essential to be a very good communicator in both written and verbal.
