We are currently looking for a software engineer with over 5 years of professional programming experience and at least 2 years of experience in developing Flutter mobile applications.

We value excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities. Your attention to detail in UX design, coupled with the ability to create captivating and visually pleasing results, would greatly contribute to our projects. Additionally, your knack for staying updated with leading industry techniques

and technologies aligns with our pursuit of innovation. If you possess a genuine passion for both learning and teaching, along with a demonstrated empathy for customers, you will find our team a perfect fit for your aspirations.

Required experience and skills:

● Strong computer science knowledge

● Expertise building complex “offline first” applications which deal with data on scale

● Experience building against an API

● Strong database design skills

● Experience creating custom animated, themed Flutter widgets

● Experience contributing to open source projects

● Excel in cross-functional teams, working fluidly with Product Managers and other highly skilled peers.

Beneficial experience and skills to have:

● Professional experience developing APIs.

● Understanding of functional programming

● Amazon Web Services

● Continuous delivery

● Background in farming and agriculture

● Geographic information systems

We are based in Christchurch; the position is remote.
