We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst for Mercado Pago, which sells insurance to its customers through Klimber. The number of insurance policies sold in the first quarter of this year has already exceeded what was sold in the entire previous year (100,000 policies). For this reason, the focus is now on performance improvements, concurrency, and solving growth-related problems. The system is monolithic, and eventually, the growth will require evolving to microservices. However, the current focus is on supporting the product's growth in volume.  

The responsibilities include: 

● Documentation of processes, tasks, developments, and/or topics required related to the IT area.

● Gathering of functional requirements and business rules for assigned projects.

● Design of functionalities and/or data models with documentation according to business requirements.

● Participation in virtual and in-person meetings with internal and external teams of the company.

●Training of internal and external users on new functionalities as required in each project.

● Process analysis for the implementation of continuous improvements. Support tasks that involve analysis and reports on productive and non-productive issues.

● Impact analysis of internal and external change requirements.

● Coordination tasks of activities related to the IT area and the teams involved in the same assigned projects.

Required experience and skills:

● SQL

● Basic notions of programming and design in web applications (HTML, JS, .NET).

● Agile work methodologies.

● Project management tools Azure DevOps/Trello/Jira

● Portuguese (Intermediate)

Hybrid from Buenos Aires, attending the office in Palermo every 15 days. Full-time 9 am to 6 pm

You will be reporting to the CTO, leading a team composed of 4 Functional Analysts and the Team Leader.

14 consecutive days of vacation (after one year of work)
