We are seeking a proactive and with good communication skills Sr Product Owner – BI to join our team.

The responsibilities include:

● Ensure the proper evolution of the applications (specific to logistics and to be trained) / modules under their responsibility, from both functional and technological standpoints.

● Act as a reference for the applications / modules under their responsibility, both for corrective and evolutionary support, as well as for projects involving the processes supported by the applications / modules under their responsibility.

● Stay updated with market trends. Research and propose new products that provide improvements in terms of performance and quality of integrated processes and/or analytical information with an appropriate cost-benefit ratio.

● Lead the team under their responsibility, whether internal or outsourced.

Required Background and Technical Skills:

● Mastery of ETL Tools: Must have a deep understanding of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). These tools enable efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.

● Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Perl to automate tasks and manipulate data during the ETL process.

● Knowledge of database platforms like SQL Server or MySQL is essential for working with structured data.

● Must understand the principles of data warehousing. This includes designing and maintaining data warehouse schemas, understanding dimensional modeling, and applying efficient storage solutions.

● Knowledge in Dimensional Modeling.

● Must understand how information is used to generate reports, dashboards, and advanced analytics to translate data into strategic actions.

● Experience in Integration with BI Tools: Familiarity with BI tools such as MicroStrategy (desirable), Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.

Beneficial experience and skills to have:

Big Data Technologies: Desirable knowledge of distributed computing environments, in technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.

Seniority and years of experience

Senior with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field

Studies/ Degree:

Preferably a student of Systems Analysis or Computer Science.

Type of work:

This is a hybrid work with flexible hours. Attendance at the office twice a week in Pablo Nogues.

Reports to the IT Services Manager.
