If you would like to be part of our team, we are looking for Sr Backend Developer

The responsibilities include:

● Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable backend solutions using Python.

● Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and best practices.

● Take initiatives to improve code quality and user experience.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

● Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards.

● Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.

● Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system reliability issues.

Required experience and skills: 

● At least 3 years of professional experience in Python backend development.

● Proficiency in modern Python frameworks

● Pytest y Celery

● Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker

● Experience with database design and optimization. Practical experience with databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

● Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

● Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git) and testing methodologies.

● Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Beneficial experience and skills to have:

● Experience with database design and optimization (MongoDB)

● AWS (EBS) Multiples ambientes

● Familiarity with Neo4j

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

● Proactive attitude and ability to take ownership of projects.

Type of work:

This is 100% remote work-based Argentina

Our Team:

You will initially report to Lead Developer and will be joining a team of around 4 people. However, we usually rotate teams eventually so that everyone gets to know the entire product. The technology team is larger, but they tend to work in small groups. We use ClickUp as the main tool for managing tickets and we don't adhere to any specific agile methodology; generally, we take elements from each methodology. Not all teams have daily meetings, but we do have weekly meetings and the rest are more on-demand calls.

You will observe the public holidays in Argentina.
